Once upon a time, when I was 15 years old, I had a public speaking competition at Kuantan district level, being held at an all-girls school in Kuantan. I was selected as the representative for the school, despite my meagre command of spoken English at that time. I didn't really have any experience talking in front of so many people, giving an impromptu speech.

So, basically the participants were led into a room, I think it was a library. Then we were randomly given a piece of paper written with something, that we have to talk about, later on. When I opened the paper, the "secrets" word was written in a deep black ink. After that, we were given a few minutes to think on the word and decide what to talk about that.

Then, hahaha lo and behold, I had got nothing in my head to bullshit about. I started with the definition of the word "secret" as something that you hide from other people, something that you don't want other people to know. Shortly afterwards, I diverted into the type of secrets that people often hide. You know things like you having a bad experience, the fact that you have AIDS, HIV and so on. The hall shortly into tears of laugh, oh my goodness what have I said, what have I done!!

After finishing my rubbish talk, I quietly walked through the side door, and went down the stairs to find a restroom. Hahaahaha, that was so embarrassing!!
