"Man can preserve a vestige of spiritual freedom, of independence of mind, even in such terrible conditions of psychic and physical stress"- Victor Frankl
"Everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of human freedoms- to choose one's attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one's own way"- Victor Frankl
"There is only one thing that I dread: not to be worthy of my sufferings"- Dostoevsky
I don't know if one can still preserve the sanity, spiritual freedom, to have independent mind when one is in a midst of a mental crisis. The way I see it, perhaps one can rely upon one's mental strength when one is faced with physical crisis, but how about otherwise?
If one's mental state is delirious, delusional, unstable, how does one cope with one's mental illnesses?
Should one rather try to use one's physical capabilities to control mental chaos?
...I don't know...and soon enough, I won't care....this is just too much.
